This page is to show some of the amazing pictures Ellie has taken, many of which adorn the walls of our home. She has become an accomplished photographer.

This sunset was taken near our home in March 2007

South Georgia has some amazing sunsets, many of which can make it look like the sky is literally burning, like the one shown here. Taken March 2007.

Just down the street from our house, two swans live on a private lake. This picture is Ellie's best effort yet to caputer their majestic beauty. Taken 3-25-07.

This fence with all these beautiful flowers is in the same yard with the rose and azaleas featured on this page. That yard is like the "Secret Garden" if you can imagine. Just beautiful. Taken March 2007.

Ellie also loves to play our piano, so I thought I might add a picture of it here.

This picture shows Ellie's marimba in front of the piano, just to give people a perspective of how large an instrument it really is. The kids and I love to hear her play both instruments.

This flower is one of many on a large bush beside the lake where the swans live. Taken 3-25-07.

This gorilla was just minding his own business, but when he saw cameras taking pictures of him, he started posing. Notice he put his arm to one side and grabbed his foot with the other. Taken fall 2006.

This beautiful rose is in our neighbor's garden just up the road. Taken March 2007.

This Oriental monument is also in the garden with the roses and azaleas. Ellie really enjoyed visiting with our neighbor there because she also shares a love for music. Maybe someday they'll record a duet to post on here. Taken March 2007.
